Jay Browder - Martial Arts Instructor

I am a 5th degree black belt and have over 20 years of experience in Karate. I actively train to better myself, as a student, a teacher, and as a person in whole. I also train in kobudo (weapons). I have competed locally, state wide, and nationally. Along with competing I have helped to produce many athletes for competition. Throughout my years of training I have been able to train with many widely known instructors in many parts of the country. Using the knowledge I learn to better help my students. I teach with the belief that my students should be better than me and that they should always continue to better themselves. I find joy in training others to become better.

I believe training in Karate is a life long commitment and helps teach many life skills that help people live more successful lives. I always expect students to do their best. With positive encouragement, strict rules, and a progressive curriculum; students learn self esteem, discipline, confidence, and goal setting. These are only a few of many important life skills you learn from training in karate.

Daniel Gregory - Personal Trainer

I am a member of the USA Powerlifting Association and have competed competitively in powerlifting competitions. Fitness has been a big part of my life for four years now and I am furthering my education in fitness by undergoing an ACE Personal Trainer certification. I am also proud to say that I’m a United States Marine.

Seeing how fitness can change someone's life for the better is a priceless experience. It gives you the confidence and motivation needed to take on your life. With my own experience in fitness and all the knowledge I’ve learned over the years, it has equipped me with the skills to help you towards your goals. I’ve studied and experienced many workout styles such as Powerlifting, bodybuilding and crossfit that has exposed me to a wide range of knowledge that I can’t wait to share with my clients to expand their knowledge in fitness. “A 1,000-step journey starts with one foot in front of the other”, you have to start from somewhere and be willing to make that first step in order to achieve something great.

Brian Gutnecht - Martial Arts Instructor

I have 10 years of experience in Shuri-Ryu Karate and hold the rank of 3rd degree Black Belt. Since starting in karate, I have expanded my training by studying several other styles of martial arts. I have 6 years of experience in Shinto Yoshin Ju Jitsu and Garimot Arnis Training. Garimot Arnis Training is a Filipino combat martial art dealing with stick, knife, empty hand fighting techniques, and Buno Filipino wrestling.

One of my favorite quotes is “We cannot control the wind, but we can direct the sails”. Keeping this in mind I make the best of every situation. Through training this reminds me to always do my best and to work hard. This holds true in everyday life. Sometimes we may not like how something turns out but with have the power to make the best of what we are given.

I am the founder and owner of New Horizon Fitness Center. Fitness is my passion, and I would like to help you reach your fitness potential. My philosophy is, "Fitness is for everyone not just people that are in shape."

I have been a martial artist for over ten years, and I have been teaching many children and adults karate for much of that time. I help equip students for competitions and work with people that just want to do something active with their kids. I also have helped teach many self-defense courses as well as provide one-on-one self-defense training. My experience and background knowledge have prepared me well to work with a wide variety of clientele.

I am also a Certified Personal Fitness Trainer (CPFT). Studying the human body along with how it works has provided me with the knowledge to help you reach your fitness goals. It is my passion to continuously study and learn new methods to improve your overall experience and provide the best service. I have studied many different styles of exercise such as bodybuilding, power lifting, and Crossfit. I have also learned many important aspects of a healthy lifestyle such as stretching, functional fitness, senior fitness, athletics, and general information about the human body. I personally work out daily in order to improve my own fitness level and to look for new and exciting workouts for my clients. I will work with you to provide an individualized workout that can truly help you achieve your goals.

Luke Beasley - Owner, CSCS, Group Fitness Instructor

I am Luke Beasley and I’d like to introduce myself & RTC. I’m a Summa Cum Laude graduate of Limestone College, graduating at the top of my class with a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Strength & Conditioning. I’m a Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) & a member of the National Strength & Conditioning Association (NSCA).

At RTC, we believe that the "personal" in personal training is largely ignored in most client/trainer relationships. Our mission is to reclaim the true spirit of partnering that will be the catalyst to OUR achieving YOUR goals.
